I use soapsnp to call snp ,and I got the result.But ,I don't know the meaning of -s <file> Pre-formatted known SNP information which in the Optional parameters.I try ,but no files output about snp information,how can I do ,any ideas? thanks a lot!

The -S <file> parameter allows you to tell SOAPsnp about SNPs you've already discovered. These can be either from previous experiments or from the literature. It expects a certain format, which is explained on the SOAP website under usage.
