VCFtools Tabix Error

Hi,

Could someone help me with the following error... Every time I try to use a VCFtool perl script I get the following error:

Can't exec "tabix": No such file or directory at /Users/johnnylindo/Desktop/vcftools_0.1.7/perl/Vcf.pm line 2155.

I've put tabix in the same directory but I'm not sure what the problem is.
